FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST
Roscioli Yachting Center, Inc is seeking experienced Front Desk Receptionist. Understandably, this is one of the most important positions in our organization. You are the first person our customers interact with, whether verbally or visually.
A pleasant encounter sets the tone for a satisfied and happy customer with lasting favorable impressions. Attributes must include a confident and friendly demeanor with a general all around knowledge of our business and operations, a team player who gets along well with other employees of the company and has the ability to prioritize tasks and accomplish projects timely and effectively.
Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Receptionist Skills and Qualifications:
Telephone Skills, Verbal Communication (Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required), Microsoft Office Skills, Listening, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Organization, Informing Others, Handles Pressure.
•Greet visitors and determine whether they should be given access to specific individuals.
•Check your emails promptly.
•File and retrieve client documents and records.
•Maintaining client files, updating forms, liaison between security personnel and front office.
•Prepare reports, memos, letters and other documents.
•Answering and routing all incoming calls appropriately.
•Referring inquiries within the company.
•Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories, giving instructions.
•Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
•Sign for and distribute UPS/FedEx packages.
•Interact with individuals that come into our office and if required, arrange with the necessary staff member to assist the individual.
•Manage emails in the corporate account, forward to or discuss with other staff, the applicable responses and assist in outgoing emails.
•Assist the President, Vice President, General Manager and Waterside Yacht Sales.
•Learn your desk, files and location of where all of the things you work with.
•Maintain relationships with captains and crew members.
•Keep Client Information current in database.
•Make sure to engage people and the phones.
•Pay attention to where people go. Observe.
•Pay attention outside of your computer.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Calendar, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
